I prefer the blood, etc, but your reason is perfectly legit. My little brother is the same way. He gets clamy and nauseous at the sight of it.
First, invert is a must. Second, if its a shooter, I prefer that the right stick press is crouch not melee. Third, difficulty, hard (which sometimes ends up infuriating) or normal. Lastly, I usually reduce sound fx so I can hear music and dialogue better.
I’m loving the ‘realism’ vision for this game. I think it’s a much needed push in a different direction for the franchise. I hope they stick to it because it’s a return to form in many ways, while also giving the franchise a bit more diversity between studios. I’ve enjoyed several of the last COD games but I’ve not… Read more
“need to die"- this kind of language should not be allowed here. I think this easily crosses the line. Not interested in weighing in about the issues of the article.
I don’t entirely disagree with you here, but isn’t shooting and killing things sort of... Inherently... Dehumanizing? I love MGS, but definitely not a PC series. Pokemon is great, but it’s also pretty much all about collecting, enslaving, and “training”. I’m all for strongly calling out true hate speech, but I just… Read more
In general I think alot of people on here are considering any offensive speech, to be hate speech. This approach really dilutes the general concept of hate speech, and why we have a category of speech known as hate speech to begin with. These were silly and offensive things to put in a game, but I don’t know that they… Read more
Well said Ovy! Never played the game and none of this forum talk will influence whether I ultimately do, but I definitely agree with your comment.
This is a good point! I tend to avoid ubisoft games because of this. I will say I got a new appreciation for ubisoft with Division 2s incredible environmental story telling. Also, mario rabbids was amazing.
I’m just hesitant to offer criticism either way. Ubisoft makes popular, enjoyable games to a lot of people. I think the story in division pretty sloppy, but not at all because of any political issues. At the same time, the environment really does tell a story all by itself in that game. I can see some of what he is… Read more
This makes me want to jump back into the division. Love all of the subltle world building that’s kind of in the background. Any particular activity you recommend focusing on when I jump back in. I think I’m think when I last played I was near 500 in world tier 5 (completed tidal basin once)
Appreciate your committment to improving my grammar and spelling. Whos the troll? It’s your tone and how you address people that shows you’re entitled, supremacist attitude. Kind of like ANTIFA, you can say a bunch of things that sound good and moral, but it means nothing when your actions or endorsed means further… Read more
Here's a conservative source talking about the issue. There were plenty of left leaning media outlets that reported this as well. But I think this is just a well written article about these issues im general https://thefederalist.com/2019/08/06/no-elizabeth-warren-is-not-to-blame-for-the-dayton-ohio-shooting/
That’s not proof. Sure it’s a piss poor moment, but it does not prove your contention. Again, this "raging" is all part of the problem. You are doing it too dude.....
We definitely need to encourage the government to infiltrate these groups and bring them down. Likewise, I think the government needs to start piercing organizations like antifa, and the sovereign sons (i might have the name wrong). They need to use something analogous to RICO to start damaging any entities advocating… Read more
Just look at your hateful, arrogant, blatantly supremicist attitude.....that is a massive part of the underlying problem that is leading to all of this. I think it is much more of a generational and technological issue than it is a racial or political one. An no, there are many democrats and republicans today who are… Read more
Trump hasn’t directly encouraged any violence. Neither have most of the Democrats. O wait, several did say they want to punch him in the face. In all seriousness though, do you not see the danger in the classist politics that became mainstream because of Trump outrage? It goes straight back to Mao, Lenin, and in some… Read more
This is exactly the us against them attitude that contributes to these situations. You conveniently omit the rich history of racism of the democratic party at that time, and beyond. It’s never been a “political issue”, it’s an issue outside of politics. And both sides, encouraged by the media (i/e ratings) have done… Read more
