I’m convinced the opposition is being intentionally obtuse at this point. They are arguing insignificant points and not gaining any ground.

I take it ‘good’ means X number of years of experience doing whatever arcane thing that your company does, which cannot be learned in any school, and every other company hiring this type of employees, also expect the applicants to have x number of years of experience doing this.

But if Uber succeeds, there won’t be any more ‘jobs’ for anyone. We will all be ‘gig workers’ working temp gigs.

But we hire full time hourly workers all the time here. We had to change our policies just to keep people here. Folks just don’t want to work. It’s too hard.
