DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SPELLING BEES. I read a lot when I was a kid and in 2nd grade, spelled it "neighbour" instead of "neighbor" and lost. Gah.

Ugh. This. I live abroad and take 10-hour flights to go back home. There is nothing worse than 10 hours on an airplane except 10 hours on an airplane with someone who wants to talk to me.

You could also go to Istanbul! It's expensive to go there, but Istanbul itself is super cheap. They've got lots of great museums, Turkish bath houses, tea houses, mosques, restaurants, bazaars, carpet shops, kebabs... And maybe you could fit in a trip to Cappadocia :)

GAAAHHH it took me forever to finish my last paper! I don't know if it was because it's the last thing I'll have to do before getting my Master's, but...
