Late to comment but here’s something you might want to try. Instead of al dente over cook your pasta by a minute or so, drain it, put in back in the pot or bowl and add the apple cider vinegar directly to the pasta. Let the pasta cool and absorb the liquid. Gives the pasta itself a nice kick.
