I have what you would call an “assault rifle”. But my rifle has never assaulted anyone. I don’t use that to hunt. If I want to hunt, I have a bolt action rifle. I have an automatic rifle as a check against tyranny and home invaders. Two types of people who do not abide by gun laws.
