Same here, no caclulators in HS, and we were only allowed to use single line calculators in college. That was including Calculus 1-3 and Differential Equations. I’m glad I never paid the money for one of those graphing ones.

Serious question: Ferrari is so focused on its image that they get pissed when Deadmau5 puts a Nyan Cat wrap on one of their cars, but when multiple people rivet and bolt appliances to the sides of their cars, no one from Maranello seems to say a word in anger. WTF am I missing here?

I think other companies have been doing exactly this. I’d be surprised if Google weren’t working on it in the background, but, then again, who knows?

I don’t work for that company anymore. I left just shortly before Google Glass was shelved, so I’m not sure if they ever figured out an alternative.

I assume most entrepreneurs like Grohmann aren’t content to suddenly stop working.

The company I worked for at the time was playing with it to use for industrial troubleshooting. The idea was to Skype the video feed to a remote tech that could see exactly what the local tech was looking at. The main issue was that the technology was not OSHA approved, so it couldn’t be installed onto safety glasses…

Well that and they were kind of creepy.
