I throughly enjoyed this episode. While I don’t know if it had that homerun sketch, there was just something in almost every sketch that kept me grinning. Just this decision to go weird and tweak stuff to something more unexpected. The dating show sketch is a prime example of this as it would have been easy to just

The Gorilla Glue sketch was difficult as I think there were some good performances there, but it was also one of the meanest SNL sketches I’ve seen in ages.

By the way, Fox News everyone.

In the Higher Learning podcast, Lindsay actually refers to Harrison’s comment about the discussions they’ve had and said that it wasn’t a surprise to her that he thought like this, but that he would put it out there for all to see like this.

I’ve sene the speculation on the GOP threat of bringing in hundreds of witnesses, but I’ve only seen credited reports on them threatening to make the Democrats passing anything an unbearable slog. Doesn’t mean that they didn’t make that threat, but the Dems could have easily countered by bringing in even more of their

There’s been some news about the absolutely crazy last minute hijinks as the Senate voted to actually allow testimony that would have established that Trump knew what was happening during the riots, but then both sides agreed to just accept the testimony in writing and read it out.

It is difficult to put in to words how utterly insane that Harrison interview was so I can only recommend watching it. Also the Higher Learning podcast, which is cohosted by Rachel Lindsay who did the interview in question, does a good job in explaining certain decisions and context of it.

Might be, but that makes the new Batwoman kind of hilarious.

As I read this stuff coming out about Whedon, one of aspects of the story that I keep thinking about is Gal Gadot and her response to the Fisher thing. For context, she spoke about standing with Fisher, as did Jason Momoa, and alleged that there was an incident with with Whedon that she had to address by going to the

They weren’t in the greys, otherwise I wouldn’t have responded as why give that visibility.

To start from the end, you have to understand that the level of snark I had to tamp out was so massive that I have give myself something small there. Was it constructive? No, but it saved from some much more damaging stuff.

...Are you seriously asking why I am glad that a commercial product that I enjoyed is performing financially well? I’ll be honest, after seeing this comment, I had to edit out so many initially snarky responses as I find it difficult to take this one seriously. I will try, though, below.

So when I first read this response, I was going to just shrug off as it is kind of pointless, but it did raise for me a question I find interesting.

What exactly is there to discuss in this particular situation? This isn’t a review thread for Valhalla or anything like. My comment was about my reaction to seeing a game that I personally really loved is doing so well in the sales charts.

Okay. Sorry to read, but does not impact at all how much I loved the game or how happy I am seeing it still be so high on the list. Thanks for sharing, though.

I’ll be honest, to me the biggest thrill of that list was that Valhalla is still second. Just as someone who absolutely loved that game it is awesome to see that it doing so well as... God that game was great.

I think the best implementation of the rejected romance, for me, is Aveline in DA2, even though it is more that she doesn’t realize that Hawke is hitting on her. The reason I love it so much is that it actually plays a lot with those interactions and adds so much a neat element in to helping Aveline getting her groove

Didn’t realize that New York City was the only city in the world or even in the US. That was a fun learning experience.

From what very little I have seen of the show, and more what I’ve read of it, I’m deeply perplexed how conservative it is with its chosen values. Which I guess isn’t inherently a negative, if it felt like the show was attempting that, but it was how it ever marketed itself and its not even good from that point of view

Oh yeah, Tiffany. I completely forgot she was Lucius’s daughter. I was mentally trying to remember his sons in the game because of the context.
