I donno...i kinda liked how flowy they looked. But yeah, clashy CGI is one of the things that annow me more in an anime.

Blood Magic in Avencast is basically that...80% or so of the spells were staff blows with some extra effect like throwing the enemy away, freezing it or making a spinning circle of fire.

I’d settle for some extra money and better FX for the attacks.
