100%. This, hopefully, gives those small guys some leverage. Already seeing a bunch of small app/game devs coming out supporting them. Epic has honestly been pretty consumer/developer friendly. Again, I know at the end of the day they’re trying to make money, but they’re genuinely a lot better than these monoliths.

lmao i logged into my account for the first time in a year and just saw this. obviously it’s fucking stupid and dangerous, you’re correct. there are laws to prevent people from doing this. my point is that most ufc fighters are not bastions of good sense.

I truly don’t understand this line of reasoning. The fact that everyone including retail takes a 30ish percent cut of game purchases is not an law of nature, we can and should expect better.

I feel like I’m goin crazy here, how is it not obvious that Epic is in the right here? Yes, they’re capitalists, they’re looking out for themselves, etc. but Apple and Google are terrifying monopolies that essentially rule the world, no hyperbole. Epic is a huge gaming company, but it’s not close to the same league.…

thunder fanbase isn’t nonexistent, it’s one of the more passionate ones in the league. we’ll see how that holds up in a rebuild, but the market is more of an issue for attracting stars than the fans are. 

when did he say it was or wasn’t reasonable? he always does a good job of not editorializing, and this is no exception. should he publish a glowing editorial about how great amazon is for laying off dozens of people humanely? 

schreir is the best journalist in games right now. I know a lot that is an access thing (a skill of it’s own, but likely a lot more difficult for people who don’t look like him), but he’s also a great writer and a legitimately oppositional force. ya love to see it.

planes get delayed all the time dumbass. a plane I was on had to turn around in the air and fly back to Lima bc there were birds on the runway.

okay agreed, but the P2020 is the actual worst gun in the game. 

surprised you didn’t mention how stable it’s been so far. other BR games are a fucking mess, and I’ve only had one disconnection in about 40 games of this. I love it so far.
