Yep, totally agree. Wish more modern games would approach graphics and art design that way. Not everything needs to be RE8 or Horizon. Funny that this article is getting comments again, I just played it on series X a few weeks ago. 60 frames don’t hurt.

They really should let you rejoin games. Counter Strike has, imo, the perfect system for this. You can rage quit/disconnect from a game, but at that point you either have to accept a ban or rejoin within a few minutes. Really cuts down on the number of people doing this.

Don’t mean to discount your experience here, but for me admiration is as strong a reason to play as enjoyment. There are so many games where I get the opposite feeling. I think feeling removed from something while still being able to admire it is a good indicator that there’s a spark.

I’m fine with this idea as long as full cross-play is still allowed. I played a bunch of fortnite and warzone with my friends who are console players, and whatever disadvantage they were at was offset by coms and good vibes

I waffle on that. I think the close ups and cinematic camera angles do it no favors, but zoomed out in normal gameplay I actually like the look.

It also amazes me that people are that shitty. Returning a game you beat and enjoyed sucks. I know you have to have systems in place to prevent that kind of abuse, but I wish people were just cool about it.
