no, i agree with the authors thoughts.

Kind of a dumb move on their part. I get they want some level of consistency in enforcing policy, but I don’t think this was necessarily warranted. If i got in a lobby with a hacker I wouldn’t expect to be held responsible for it.

Great post. Put into words what I had been struggling to re: why Fortnite’s storytelling feels groundbreaking.

because it’s shit talking between friends, he’s funny, and this is the dumbest thing to take seriously?

I kinda feel like this was a pretty drastic step if all there is to know is what’s reported here. Of course the tigers might know more, and he shoulda been a little more careful with his language, but if it really was directed at the white dude i don’t think it’s a fireable offense.

i’m a kc sports fan and had a lot of fun a few years ago when the royals won the world series, but boy does that ever feel like a blip in a long dark timeline. kc sports has had some really low moments, its sad that this isn’t even close to number one (probably goes to the 20..10 I wanna say chiefs? When the guy

I’m a little less interested in this draft than usual bc the wing prospects aren’t very good. Even Doncic, who’s good, doesn’t quite have that alluring top-end upside that some past consensus-best draftees have had.

who says we can’t have open borders?

Tribes is so cool, I wish I had been playing games in it’s heyday. I really missed out on the late 90s era.

yeah I used to feel that way too, I get it

lol

i’ve been thinking about why i love the shopping carts so much, and a lot of it is that it was such a pleasant surprise, and a genuinely funny and functional addition that fits in perfectly and in fact advances the tone epic are going for in fortnite. i really can’t recall a multiplayer game ever doing so much

“idealism and business don’t mix well”

well fuck the DOJ too but like.... ice and bp are bad man. i understand people taking jobs that are maybe grey/slightly bad areas morally (a lot of tech jobs) bc people gotta eat, but ice and border patrol are not grey areas.

this is good shit. props to those employees, job security is everything for a lot of adults and for them to be able to put that aside for a minute in the face of something much worse than losing a job or pissing off management is admirable. fuck microsoft though.

Interesting to hear you say it wasn’t “shockingly pretty.” Other journalists I follow have said that the level of detail and fidelity that dense city scenes are rendered is something they haven’t seen before, particularly the scene when you first walk out into the crowd of people. Austin in particular was pretty

the idea that i would be so scared that i wouldn’t be thinking about the structure of the movie or how the director is trying to integrate themes into it is massively appealing to me. it’s so rare for a movie to get that kind of response. has happened so few times without the aid of drugs.

how bout you leave that shit to his family. you know people who have family who have killed themselves? those kind of emotions are part of the grieving process but ultimately not how most people remember whoever they lost.

lmao i was thinkin this too. maybe avalanche isn’t doin JC4?

you may have seen this, but Austin on twitter pointed out some pretty notable differences that, imo, set it apart enough
