i’m a kc sports fan and had a lot of fun a few years ago when the royals won the world series, but boy does that ever feel like a blip in a long dark timeline. kc sports has had some really low moments, its sad that this isn’t even close to number one (probably goes to the 20..10 I wanna say chiefs? When the guy

I’m a little less interested in this draft than usual bc the wing prospects aren’t very good. Even Doncic, who’s good, doesn’t quite have that alluring top-end upside that some past consensus-best draftees have had.

Tribes is so cool, I wish I had been playing games in it’s heyday. I really missed out on the late 90s era.

yeah I used to feel that way too, I get it

lol

i’ve been thinking about why i love the shopping carts so much, and a lot of it is that it was such a pleasant surprise, and a genuinely funny and functional addition that fits in perfectly and in fact advances the tone epic are going for in fortnite. i really can’t recall a multiplayer game ever doing so much

Interesting to hear you say it wasn’t “shockingly pretty.” Other journalists I follow have said that the level of detail and fidelity that dense city scenes are rendered is something they haven’t seen before, particularly the scene when you first walk out into the crowd of people. Austin in particular was pretty

the idea that i would be so scared that i wouldn’t be thinking about the structure of the movie or how the director is trying to integrate themes into it is massively appealing to me. it’s so rare for a movie to get that kind of response. has happened so few times without the aid of drugs.

how bout you leave that shit to his family. you know people who have family who have killed themselves? those kind of emotions are part of the grieving process but ultimately not how most people remember whoever they lost.

lmao i was thinkin this too. maybe avalanche isn’t doin JC4?

you may have seen this, but Austin on twitter pointed out some pretty notable differences that, imo, set it apart enough

what that means functionally is that you literally can’t one pump someone if they have full health/shields, which is a pretty big change! I didn’t hate the way shotguns worked previously, but I’m best with Snipers and AR’s, so this patch is probably good for me *shrug*

wtf lol everything about that sounds bad. playing on a laptop screen when you have a monitor and presumably a tv? madness. different strokes tho.

hi mom

Big ups to some relatively anonymous sixers twitter people for doing the legwork here. NBA twitter is cool sometimes.

I think mass producing graphics cards is harder than you’re giving it credit for. They had a certain infrastructure for producing graphics cards pre-crypto that generally could meet the needs of the gaming public. That pipeline could not keep up with the extreme influx of miners that happened in the last 20 months or

Yeah, this is insane. If this was the NBA, proper procedures would have been in place. A tragic, weird example of the plague that is people’s monetary value determining access to proper health care.

I’d say hold off a little longer. 1170 is on the way, and 450 is still 100 bucks more than the original msrp of a two year old card.

whoops double post. i’m bad at kinja

Ah, gotcha. So basically a gut call. I think that’s a good way to handle it, and a cool (if fairly trivial) example of not always operating to maximize clicks/ad revenue. I’m sorta neutral towards this particular choice, but I think it’s great that it’s one you even feel comfortable making.
