Try covering everything with good quality compost. Maybe a kelp spray. And a light cloth cover.
Noooooo !!! Squirrels AKA the devils spawn. You see the picture where I have the peas covered ? That’s to keep the birds from eating the seeds. The one advantage of city gardening is that we don’t have to deal with squirrel, deer or gophers.
