As in, we had our guns aimed at him with intent to kill but he wasn’t having it so tried to fight us off at which point we got scared and had to kill him. Case dismissed.

I became a PTV fan when my high school boyfriend put Just Like Arcadia on a mixtape for me in 1988. In college, the guy I lived with practically made the whole cult ov Genesis his thesis. Then, after moving to NYC in 1996 was delighted to learn Genesis lived there and ended up running into h/er several times, starting

I worked at some great, fun restaurants and ate many great free meals. Most places I worked allowed you a free meal off the menu, before or after the shift. Some places did staff meals before or after the shift. When I held the keys as a manager to a couple of places I never stopped eating, and I was in my 20s, and

I paid for the RoboKiller app. Worth every penny, and entertaining to boot.

Childhood cancer/terminal illnesses are devastating. My son lost one of his friends to DIPG in the first grade. Peace and healing to her family.

We love wings in this house and I have been baking them for years. Never saw the need to brine, and no issues with dry meat. Here are two of my favorites that are always crowd pleasers:

I was taking the Acela from NYC back to Boston yesterday evening. A fellow commuter, shaved head, awful business casual dress (pointy shoes, slacks, monogrammed white button down, flannel vest) sat across the aisle from me. I noticed he was reading a book called “Hitler’s War” so I looked it up. Written to put Hitler

So, Pieters is brilliant. More of this. Perhaps create a fake award for DJT, to feed that ego and then humiliate him.

This is a great article. My then boyfriend and I spent Y2K New Years in Belize, and this article brings me back. Geez, 20 years ago.

I have always wanted to go to Japan, and my 8 year-old son, a huge gamer, will likely now be the catalyst. I am thinking in 2021 when he turns 10, so he can have some recollection of the trip when he is older. Anyone familiar with Osaka who can recommend a good neighborhood to stay in, is much appreciated.

I remember how they whole-heartedly embraced Kathy Griffin’s artistic expression...

Life’s a piece of shit, when you look at it...

Deli meat is straight up nasty. I was never a huge fan, but after being told by my doctor to avoid them completely when I was pregnant, I haven’t touched them since.

I hope Eddie responds to that self-righteous bullshit. Cosby has yet to apologize or take any responsibility for raping dozens of women. And while sure he no doubt contributed, he wasn’t the first. Redd Foxx, Moms Mabley, etc.

I would love to see the entire best of Eddie Murphy SNL - NOT the more recent, edited version - in it’s entirety. Sadly, my VHS copy is dead.

Oh, and yes, that Williams version is amazing. Ignorance and Want scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

I love all the ones you mentioned, watched Mister Magoo’s with my son last night. My sibs and would sing the razzleberry dressing song as kids, maybe I still sing it... Albert Finney is our favorite, some (my husband) find the musical numbers intolerable but we love and watch every year. That said, I liked this

When I got a cold as a kid, my Irish mom would prop me up in bed with a toddy, made with hot water, Jameson (always), a crushed aspirin, lemon and honey. After that was consumed she’d pop a Luden’s in my mouth, put a Vick’s covered cloth on my chest, turn on the humidifier and leave me to pass into the astral plane. I
