It’s really about the trough-feeding, but fomenting bigotry and misogyny are a bonus.

So glad to see Desert Hearts straight off the bat. Watched it in a Women in Film class circa 1993 and everyone was fanning themselves it was so steamy and real. Patricia Charbonneau will always remain my first girl crush.

My husband is not a chef, but you two have a very similar dynamic to me and my hubs.

I have waited thousands of tables and held keys to several great restaurants and hate to add anything to a busy server’s to-do list... that said, one thing I can’t deal with is an overcooked steak. It gets sent back when it happens, in a polite way, and I always overtip. I pretty much always ask for it R now so if it

Marc Bolan

So were Emily and Janine but they were sent to the colonies.

My only qualm with the show is why June - not to mention the Waterfords - has gotten off so lightly considering - is it 3 failed escape attempts now? A missing baby, a defiant wife and torched house? Not exactly low profile. Main protagonists and many more promised seasons notwithstanding, I’m having some difficulty

I totally hear you, Clem Fandango :)

I kind of saw Jon Voight at first glance, now that Voight is old and bloated now, too.

Rescued feral owner here, got her at the MASPCA when we moved to MA 5 years ago We live in a quiet cul de sac in a circa 1845 house and needed a mouser. She is a very routine oriented cat. In the morning she has to be let out to use her bathroom spot in the side yard hedges, then she hunts bunnies, comes in to nap on

Looooooooove it.

Which of course, John Roberts’ SCOTUS is doing their best to make illegal as well.

I’d love to see that article. There is a gut-wrenching article on NPR “Voices from Chernobyl: Survivors’ Stories.”

A few of the actors successfully affect a mildly slavic accent, specifically Emily Watson and Jessie Buckley, who is Irish. Otherwise the British accents don’t bother me at all, aside from one guy who is a Clive Owen soundalike, and that distracts me for other reasons. It’s a brilliant show.

Mario & Sons in Williamsburg sells (or at least, used to sell, when I lived there 5 years ago) Tonino the cheapest I have seen. They’re a great butcher/market, check them out. He used to give me bones for stock free all the time. I miss him.

Thanks for saving me from having to look that up.

I mostly agree, but also think it could swing a few desperately needed votes our way. The amount of money the network makes for an hour or so of dem time seems trivial comparatively. So long as we ultimately win.

Her appearance in interviews makes me think that she requires camera operators to use a heavy rose filter or something similar. It’s always supremely soft focused.

Michelle Pfeiffer has done it right, too.

I need to go back and watch Jared Harris as Vlad (Russian accent!) in Happiness. I was able to find myself a “I love NJ” shirt as I loved his.
