A few of the actors successfully affect a mildly slavic accent, specifically Emily Watson and Jessie Buckley, who is Irish. Otherwise the British accents don’t bother me at all, aside from one guy who is a Clive Owen soundalike, and that distracts me for other reasons. It’s a brilliant show.

I mostly agree, but also think it could swing a few desperately needed votes our way. The amount of money the network makes for an hour or so of dem time seems trivial comparatively. So long as we ultimately win.
