Our best friends bought in Dorchester about 10 years ago, we frequent the neighborhood. MA is indeed a diverse place, but Massholes are no doubt real. We frequent the Y pool in Framingham and quite often the white folks are outnumbered by a diverse mix of folks, all chilling out together.

When she goes around him she gives him a slight elbow to create some room. I imagine she wasn’t surprised by his oafish, disrespectful behavior.

I’ll reserve my judgement for when I see how she inevitably degrades herself - and likely others -regardless of any decent (and not self-serving) intentions she may have had. But not really, I am already judging her.
