So he stole the scene from Gummo?

I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again: Joker is basically Threw It On The Ground but played entirely straight.
“The Winter Soldier fight syncs perfectly to “Toxic,””
Their pizza sauce is too sweet, like I’m eating candy pizza. Papa Johns always gets a hard pass from me when choosing which pizza chain to order from.
Not sure what was in the water 10 years ago but rewatching a bit of the office recently made me realize pretty much everyone on the show was an asshole I would never want to meet in person.
My favorite thing about Jim’s character is that he’s willing to be a jackass the other 364 days of the year (remember when he wore a fucking tuxedo to work for no reason other than to zing Michael? Or dressed up as Dwight in order to zing Dwight?), but come Halloween he’s suddenly too cool and “not into” costumes to…
Ah, The Office: where looking at the camera IS the punchline!
Whomever(?) voted candy corn should not be allowed to have children. Disgusting.

I was COMPLETELY THRILLED that they are doing a third Christmas Prince movie, solely on the basis that Jenny might therefore produce a sequel video.
I’m going to have to watch that video. My favorite pastime is watching media about monarchies and pointing out how ridiculous they are.
Indeed. That is some backhanded writing about an innocent victim.
‘But not all media bought into the “foxy Knoxy” narrative: Eight months before Knox was acquitted in a retrial, the 2011 Lifetime movie Amanda Knox: Murder On Trial In Italy painted her as an innocent all-American girl being scapegoated by forces beyond her control, a depiction supported by the casting of…
It’s normal to reference a director’s prior work, including when you have a low opinion of their output. This has the benefit of helping readers calibrate their reception to the review based on their opinion of the films it’s compared to.
Maybe Phillips shouldn’t have very obviously tried to reference Scorsese if he didn’t want people drawing comparisons to Scorsese!
How much of “this film” is there if it mostly retreads another director’s work?
So what exactly is this an act of? Because Holland could have very well just shrugged and accepted an equally fat paycheck to star in Sony’s MCU-free Spider-Man franchise.
He probably would have still made truckloads of cash if Sony had taken Spider-Man back cuz they wouldn’t have recast him so yah I think it does have to do with what works best for the character and the fans. He woulda gotten paid either way, why would he care?
It’s a symbiotic relationship, pardon the pun. If they make money, he makes money. It can be two things. Three things, with the fans remaining happy, as well.
Your loss. This series is amazing and you should really find a way to watch it. Amazon Prime isn't that bad (certainly better than HBO Now).
Gee, your right. It’s not like Amazon Prime has any other great originals like The Boys or Homecoming. It’s also not like they have one of the better exclusive lineups with Mr. Robot, Justified, The Americans and Psych; and it’s cheaper than netflix. It’s also not like they have an option to help deliveries and music…
