This adds a new dimension to the common "zone" metaphor "Flow", by that one Czech with a weird ass named.

Fuck VIM and the horse VIM rode in on. True hackers use Emacs. Emacs was the first lifehacking editor.

Another one of my favorites is Win-Left Arrow and Win-Right Arrow to get windows to size to half of the width of your widescreen. Very useful for comparing docs, or having two instances of Outlook running for purposes of filing emails, etc.

@djlurch: I started on a TRS80 mod 1 as well. Moved to the Atari 800 because of the graphics.

That team clearly has a good understanding of UI design for the power user. Not too bad esthetically, either. As a fairly fast typist, I am a bit resentful everytime that I have to move my right hand away from the home row (yeah yeah, I'm not really that much into hot-chatting for that reason).

@redmonke255: As a mindmapper for about 7 years, I'd also have to say that it makes it tough searching the maps.

Best way to hide your TV is in a landfill (or proper electronics disposal site). Haven't owned a TV in 15 years (ever since the 49ers started sucking) and don't miss it. Wonder how I had the time to watch it back then...

Does I get the proximity benefits because Google has their San Francisco offices in my condo building in San Francisco (I'm on 15th floor, they're somewhere on floors 2-8)? Does the proximity benefit only work if you can piggyback off their wifi signal (I can't)?

When oh when will they ever get notification (time-based) for clippings? It'd be great to be able to use Evernote for GTD/notification/calendaring.

This is a fun section of LifeHacker in case you just didn't have enough to procrastinate with.

Once again, San Fran does not represent.... It's easier to get $10 panhandling around here than it is getting a damn free wifi connection. Maybe too many folks around here actually know how to set up WEP or WPA. We need to invent an even more complicated security scheme so that most folks won't know how to set it

@neal whitehouse piper: I had a '95 MB E420 for 11 years. No worries. Some maint, but in the last 10 years, supplemented it with riding a motorcycle as my primary form of transportation. Four years ago, my fiance got an 03 AMG CL55, and we plan on keeping that as our primary vehicle for many years. Still looks

Also works great for human skin when you're making that dress and just need a little odd section to fit the pattern. Works best if you have primed the skin with lotion while still alive for 7-10 days beforehand.

@TheSeeker: Thanks, Seeker. I, too, have been looking for dupe elimination in MP3s.

www.mylifeorganized.com — that's it. There's a WM client that syncs to the Windows client. Not free, but pretty damn cheap. There is a free version as well with virtually no limitations, but the software is so good, I went with the paid version.

Seriously, Cash Can? What about "Coke Can," which is more like it. Or howzabout Crack Pack? There are a lot of good names for this thing.

@samyoed: If you're wearing heals, you're probably wearing a bra (unless your 15 or 75, or live nearby in Berkeley). So, the problem then becomes, can you make a stash for a favorite bra?

@Dylan Hafertepen: Nice work. Good layout. But you actually have a heart imprinted on the cover of the booklet? Ouch. You are a tougher man that I would be, my friend.

Ahh, the newbs... Love it. "rm -rf /" doesn't count as a forkbomb. I was doing that 20 years ago... Doh!
