Hey Adam — Good luck at Superhuman! Have been grooving on LH for a while, and will continue, but also look forward to what you're going contribute at Superhuman.

I use two different computers in one house, a windows and a mac air. In another house, I have another two computers (windows and mac). I don't have to sync all of the computers' configuration together — it just works. That's why I use it.

Mine is CMD-SPACE, which I use to invoke QuickSilver, and then from there, the world is my oyster!

I use shortmarks.com. I set my default Chrome browser to that, and then I use keywords in ShortMarks such as "a" for Amazon, "g" for Google, "w" for wiki, "gm" for Google Maps, "ts" for torrentz., etc. I also use QuickSilver on OS X, and using its triggers, if I want to do a google search from any screen (even MS

Shortmarks FTW.

I don't think that I'm going to try this with my motorcycle keys/house keys combination. I'd hate to see the later fly off of my motorcycle at 80 mph.

I like the look of the Hartmann hanging garment bag pictured here. It's the original deal. The Etsy thing looks sort of like a one-off knock-off, and to other seasoned travellers, they'll sort of think it's a SkyMall value bag.

I met Madam Ambassador Kathryn Hall at a recent wine conference. Great lady, and superb California cab. $110 is a good price for her wine as it compares to other bottles costing $200-$800. Good stuff.

^^^ This.

I don't know how this happened, but I purchased an iPhone 4s in Mar of this year. I'm allowed to upgrade to a 32 gb iPhone 5 after Oct 17, 2012 for $549. I don't know how it happened, but it seems that I am on an accelerated vesting plan? Normally, the price for that phone is $749. Kinda cool.

I'm guessing that the three guys are pretty much immune to the five natural reactions described in this article.

"SwampAss" is a condition that only seems to affect men, thankfully.

I work from home. Occasionally, I'll go into the office down in Silicon Valley (I live in SF), but this post pretty much nails my schedule. I wake up at 7:30 or 7 or thereabouts. Hit Google Reader to catch up on things, scan my email (in that order) and then plan my day.

Beautifully readable and so very utterly irregular. Sort of like the Dianetics book set in a beautiful font. Sort of makes sense, but then you read it again and end up scratching your head.

I bought Boom for my older MBA 11" (2010) and reinstalled it on my new 11" MBA. The Air's speakers are pretty wimpy, as you might expect in a laptop this big, and Boom really makes them useable. Definitely worth the money at full-price, and at this price, it's a no-brainer.

I had problems with my 2012 MBA 8GB as well. I did a little research, and found posts that said that if you deleted the plist for Dock, and then killed Dock (which restarts it), it'll take care of it.

Uh, college educated knowledge workers tend to be, surprise, liberally biased. By an overwhelming majority. Fits Yelps demographic. Deal with it.

This has already been thoroughly documented (different team, different university (MIT)) in the excellent book "The Eudaemonic Pie" released in 1985. Thanks for the article and bringing this subject to mind. Hopefully, more people will read the book.

I just pinged the author of the app to see if he supports or will support Magellan's RoadMate. IMHO, it's much better than the others, if nothing else but for the ability to pan and zoom while navigating. The other apps, at the time I made my $50 investment, did not. They may now support it, but I've already cast
