Just finished watching the last season of Rebels and what bugs me about Rian Johnsons deciessions isn’t character related. It’s the technical stuff.

A lot of scenes and their feeling of suspense is built around on the rebels escaping to hyperspace. Now that is essentially gone from Star Wars, due to First Order having

Reboot has the connotation of film series:
“Raimi Spider-Man films were done, so Sony rebooted it with Garfield. And then again with MCU.

Stand alone films that have been remade: Solaris, Vanilla Sky, Psycho.

Same here. Three seasons of Daredevil said everything there was to say and it ended great.

First season of Jessica Jones seemed to say everything there was about her, lets hope the third on has something interesting and wraps it up.

Luke Cage might have something left, but this iteration of the main character (writing

Besides the education being top notch here in Finland, we watch a lot of English spoken TV. And we don’t dub it, but sub it, so basically from birth we keep hearing English all the time and learn to read Finnish quite quickly while watching it.

Grammar wise Finnish isn’t an easy language to learn, but it’s pronounced

It’s an origin movie, where the Hero realizes she has done some bad things and must atone and take responsibility. Her antagonist is a dark mirror of herself. There is a nurturing love interest that helps bringing the humanity of the Hero out.

Iron Man: Weapons manufacturer; Iron Monger; Pepper Potts
Hulk: Gamma

Ubisoft fumbled with Assassin’s Creed - Origins on this: taking down Roman outposts and smashing down stutues of the bad pharaoh doesn’t effect anything. Absolutely nothing changes in the world: outposts get repopulated by romans and no benefits from merchants or anything.

And it was better in AssCreed Syndicate. The

I remember hearing about this movie when it premiered in Finland and then nothing. If I remember correctly, this was a lifelong dream of the producer/writer/director Haaja and cost/almost cost his marriage and finances.

If you watch the film with Verhoven’s comment track, it’s basically: “So you see, that character is a facist. This special effect was made by that studio. That character is a fascist too. The special effects here were made by this studio. She’s a fascist too.

Everyone’s a fascist or becomes one. Rest is speacial

Or.. OR.. just remove the need for the tipping culture all together and start paying decent wages.

There was a non-turn based Fallout game before Fallout 3:

Kingping didn’t really fit into the Punisher comics. Because Punisher kills his enemies, that’s his role in the Marvel Universe. And Kingping is too major of a villain to be killed off.

One character actually calls Russo ”jigsaw face”.

I had to push my self to finish reading her book and it’s a short book. Japanese animism is storng in there: “Your socks will have bad emotions if they are just stuffed into the drawer instead of being neatly folded”.

I am a huge fan of the first two games, but I never considered them AAA. Second one was close, but it had those THQ quality issues (the game was actually unplayable for YEARS due to a small but horrible bug that crached the game on every platform when ever it autosaved).

Yep. Hellboy was funny and had a workingman class attitude, but there was also a sorrowful undertone. Ghosts with regrets and lonely monsters. Hellboy in Mexico is about him going on a bender and wrestling vampires with Lucha Libre brothers (funny and weird), but one of the brothers die and is turned into a vampire

I was suprised that Marci was not included in Fisk trying to force Foggy to back off. He has stuff on his family, but Marci’s safety is left out? Really liked her character and scenes with Foggy, so I was a bit afraid she’s going to get killed.

How about not opening the movie up to younger audiences.

This movie (and all of it’s followers) is the worst thing to happen to sharks. Even the original author of the book the movie is based on, wishes he hadn’t written it.

Besides the rhythm games, Street Fighter, Tekken and some weird idol simulator - all the games in those arcades are ancient. And even the former ones have some years on them already.

It’d be great if the movie ended with Phoenix burning up the Earth and maybe the whole galaxy. Then new moves from Marvel Studios.

This is not the change I wanted. What I wanted, was Marvel to get rid of Greg Land. He’s worse than Liefeld.
