That would require competence and they don’t have a deep bench.

He’s not doing a thing.  He ain’t shit without twitter and he knows it.

Oh I’m the white friend who was at that show. And I used to work at Evergreen back in the day. I’m originally from an area in Oklahoma just south of Tulsa where all the black folks moved after they got out after the riots in 1921. So I was just always very used to being around about as many black folks as white folks.

Erykah Badu’s Mama’s Gun starts off with her whispering and all the sound dropped really low, so you turn it up, and and then up some more to hear, and then BOOM. The BIG intro that you just cranked up hits. It’s awesome.

I will never forget the way she worked that story about driving her new yellow Caddie over to the show, and encountering those teen boys in the parking lot, into the verses for Tyrone.

I was at the show she did at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas for Mama’s Gun.  Not only was it a hometown crowd and show, entirely by luck, I got to sit in the mezzanine with her family.  It was an amazing evening.  And that whole year was excellent for music of all kinds. Sigh...

Hope you are able to work from home soon.  I’m way down in central jersey, and brought my office home with me last Tuesday evening and we are stocked up.  My elderly father and I can lock down, and honestly, I think as cases start to ramp up, counties are just going to start proactively taking some pretty aggressive

Btw, his idea that the death rate is much lower than 3%? If he could do even the most basic math he could see that this is wrong.

And of course, the full time trolls are out to defend Dear Leader at all costs.  My dismiss button works just fine.

It’s insane that they aren’t taking this seriously. I’m working from already, despite the low risk at the moment, because I live with an elderly person. He, thank goodness, has understood what the hell is happening and is just staying home for now himself. I work in NYC, and live kind of far from it, and we have the

Working from home for a bit. Live with a 79 year old with respiratory issues. Can not take the chance of being in Manhattan for now. Getting him to understand the risk has been maddening, but he finally gets it and is just staying around the house as well. The risk is still low for most folks, but not for him, so I’m

Same. I am working home for a bit to see where this goes. I work in NYC, but live out in Jersey, and have an elderly person in my house, who has lung/breathing issues. I absolutely can not take even a small chance due to this. So I was given permission to bring everything home that I need to continue to be able to

I’m sure what I just described is the amateur hour compared to there. I’m actually considering going back to Tulsa this year, so I’m curious to sample a wholly new and yet familiar kind of political bullshit if I do.

I lived in Chicago when he was governor. The news was like a mini version of now. The BS coming out of Springfield was scandal after scandal. Every day all day. I seem to have a special skill for living in states where the governor does some ridiculous bullshit.

Oklahoma State alum here. Don’t mess with Barry, people.

Makes it impossible to do his job??? His job is to read Trump’s tweets and then do what they say. His job is to be Trump’s fixer and bagman. He’s great at his job.

Exactly. Can’t do his job??? His job is to read Trump’s twitter feed and then do what it tells him to do. And he’s great at it.

Same. I lived in Wicker Park back in the day, when the movie came out. The Subterranean, The Double Door (Which the music reviewer woman in the movie says the wrong way), just all of it. There wasn’t a single scene in that movie I didn’t recognize. Even when he was at the Green Mill on the north side, where I once saw

Why would anyone say “no” to her and risk getting wished into the cornfield?

Well, according to the photo credit, that is Prince presenting Beck with some grammy he won one time, not an actual tribute show to Prince.
