There’s one part missing here I think. Once you crack the egg into the pan, and the whites have just begun to set - you’ll see a pouch around the yolk that is not yolk. If all you do is flip without addressing that pouch, you either a) get runny whites or b) overcook the yolk.

Instead of butter, I cook my bacon first and then cook the egg in the same pan with the grease. Extra crispy edges!

Although, if you do this, I recommend using a spatula instead of the pan flip, let you splash hot bacon grease.

That's exactly what my wife and I do. Direct deposit the amount from our paychecks to cover all shared expenses into our shared account, what's left is dropped into our personal accounts.
