I think any retail or retail related job is soul crushing. You revolve around one thing and one thing only: sell, sell, sell. The human brain is not meant to do one thing only over and over. Hell, no living sentient mind is meant to do it. Ever go to a zoo? Nearly all of the animals have lost their minds.
