In high school my friend pitched me on going to see Good Will Hunting with "it's the new Robin Williams movie!" Not the most accurate pitch exactly, as I kept waiting for the hysterical madcap comedy to arrive.

NOW GET OUTTA MY OFFICE

I'll put in a mention for the somewhat obscure Violent Femmes track Johnny, found only on the Add It Up compilation. I've never found the back story of the song, but the lyrics are just right.

Actual fact: One time my wife was boarding a plane and noticed Connie Britton already seated. My wife wrote a note and handed it to Ms. Britton, thanking her for her inspiring performance as Tammy Taylor. Connie Britton, in response, wrote a long and, even to cynical ol' me, frankly touching letter to my wife

Sub in Other People's Lives for, say, Dashboard. Sub in Polar Opposites for Bukowski.

Not much to say other than this is good fucking TV. I'll show myself out now.

Not to mention the guy who plays Jared on Silicon Valley!

That's Enough For Today And Possibly All Week, Internet

My Curse is the best slow-burn song of all time. OF ALL TIME.

It really is a perfect song, with its kinda circular structure and subtle layers of instrumentation.

You had me at "the rape of Christ."

When did Maxim first get published? Find that answer, you have your bro origin.

I agree, it's an album that has grown on me after a lukewarm initial reaction. I still feel like it could have been a very good single-disc album if they cut some of the lesser stuff, but the same is true about every ambitious multi-side album ever made. Songs like It's Never Over and Joan of Arc resonate and are as
