I try to feel bad for Royals fans. But then they talk about Dayton Moore like they didn’t win in spite of him, too... and it gets harder.

As a Royals fan, Glass did nothing to help win a championship outside of hiring Moore. If he hadnt been hamstrung to cut payroll for a team owned by a freaking billionaire after their WS win, they could of kept the band together a few more years and kept that window open. Glass always had more money to spend on this roster and his penny-pinching is why Zack Greinke, Johnny Damon, Carlos Beltran, etc. were sent out for pennies on the dollar.  Maybe those were good deals that made sense on some spreadsheet somewhere, but the fans never got a decent explanation.
