Who said anything about spending $60 every two weeks for a year? That was $60 for two weeks on a single international trip to buy your OTC necessities at your international destination if you had to dump all your OTC meds that you brought along from home. i.e. allergy medication, medicated creams, cold/ flu

Unless it's prescription medication, it's not a big deal to have your medication confiscated. At least not a big deal to me. You can find something similar at the country's pharmacy for OTC drugs.

They're in specific locations when you zoom in. Try looking at Mt. Everest or Red Square.

Sanded, painted, and ready to use? Doors remounted? It's just the paint drying time alone that has me scratching my head. On the other hand, it looks pretty nice. Painting cabinets is a great and cheap solution to a dated finish.

One day? To prep, paint, and install those cabinet doors? Mmmhm. I'll believe it when I see a time lapse video.

I'm being real, I once was in a long term date thing with a dude that would only watch anime in Sub. Told him straight up if he could watch an anime (his favourite BTW-he had terrible taste in anime, Sword Art Online..probably should've stopped dating him because of that but) without subtitles and understood what

...The Cowboy Bebop dub is better than the sub.

All of this is true. There is major structural bullshit interfering with people's ability to feed themselves and their families well. I shouldn't have been as snarky as I was about it. I don't blame people for having trouble getting enough veggies. Also I should have acknowledged that keeping up with what's on sale

What, you don't think you can eat a full cup of chili powder every day to get your "red"? Wuss.

You make a good point. The pre-made stuff is more expensive. I don't buy it much myself though, but for someone who is skipping on their fruits and vegetable because they don't think they have time to prepare, I think they are great. I make a huge batch of vegetable soup once a month and I often used the bags to

Inevitably when the topic of raising kids comes up, so does the hot topic of spanking. Now we can discuss it frankly (rather than tangentially to another topic).

Tell them that the contents of your uterus are as private as the contents of their colons, and not subject to prying questions by strangers.

I suspect that when I am pregnant, I will spend quite a bit of time scolding strangers who suddenly treat my body like it is public property. And yet, it seems necessary. If everyone just smiles and bears it, like this article suggests we should, folks won't get the feedback needed to realize that they should keep

I like OneNote better than evernote. I love the layout much better, but without Mac integration, I couldn't use it. Now I can.

Don't bury the lead: "OneNote is now free everywhere including the Windows PC desktop"!

I think it would be incredibly difficult to squeeze out toothpaste from that, and you'd have to fill it with so much extra product to account for the amount that will be stuck in the straw. Incredibly wasteful, not just from the plastic standpoint.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw this. Thanks for the lighter-to-melt-the-end-of-the-straw tip. I'll try that this week... my first backpacking trip of the year is coming up this weekend :)

When I relax my hair, the package comes with mini shampoo and conditioner. They're perfect for travel and they're made out of really solid plastic. I usually have tons of them and I always wish I could give them away and, to think, there are people out there making heat sealed straw containers.

Squeeze it out of the straw like you do with a toothpaste container?

Right? They'll lose their shit over this. There's no printing telling them how many ounces, no label telling them what's in it, and looks like little snort sized servings of cocaine.
