As another commenter said, you can get Toxoplasmosis from cat poop. It's mostly harmless, unless you're pregnant, and then it's a huge deal. Pregnant women shouldn't scoop litter boxes or do gardening because of cat poop exposure.

I completely agree that it's up to the owner to develop the relationship, with cats or dogs.

This is really neat, because I held off on using Safari on iOS for this very reason. Chrome syncs everywhere, so I've stuck with that. I've never noticed Chrome lagging on my iPhone, but this gives me a reason to give Safari another go.
