Because it's in the menubar! I don't like all that business crowding my dock, but a couple of tiny icons in my menubar are great. I keep my Applications and Home folders up there. I use the clean menubar icons (available here [macthemes.net] ) and have created my own little XMenu icons to match the clean set.

I'm lucky that I never get spam to my inbox. The few spam emails I get go to my spam folder and I just never see them. But I agree, it would take a LOT of spam for me to back away from Sparrow. Too sweet an email app to let a little spam spoil the fun.
