I kind of really liked the city and the weird humans. My hope is that it’s some world that has been infected by drabness or something. I’ve interviewed Jaden, and when he wants to not be crazy, he’s perfectly capable of forming complete, relevant sentences. In fact, he was disappointingly normal. This shit is an act, just like everyone else’s web presences; no need to say he’s mentally ill.

For me it has to do with mindlessly watching these people for so long. The fact that two people who are having an affair could have such generic/forced rapport is so fascinating.
