It was hilarious/uncomfortable to see Michael Cera and Portia de Rossi in the scenes that had supposedly taken place right after the end of season 3.

While I have mixed feelings on the Michael as a movie producer story (mostly due to Ron Howard's increased on-screen time), every time he ripped up a family member's contract had me rolling. YOU'RE OUT OF THE MOVIE.
I really liked that lots of the stuff in the new episodes revolved around Lucille 2. I always miss Liza when I rewatch the 3rd season.
Agreed on Hit List. I actually made a cast recording for it using the plot outline from Vulture. *hangs head in shame*
Nice job with a hidden Side Show ref, Todd.
I was too busy laughing at the fact that Christine Ebersole was like "LOLZ I MISSED A NAME." If this was 2007 and Jane Krakowski skipped her nom for Grey Gardens, there'd probably be a Lea Michele sized hole on Glee right now.
Speaking of, what else is shooting in NYC now?

LENA DUNHAM JOKES.
I seriously think Under Pressure wins the award for MOST WHAT THE FUCK moment of the entire series, narrowly beating out "A Thousand And One Nights" from last season. It was fine when it was Karen, Ivy, Jimmy and Ana….but then when all the "adults" joined in, I lost it. Especially at Anjelica Huston.
I had the same reaction as I did to Lindsey Mendez a few weeks ago:
IS THAT SUSAN BLACKWELL?! THAT IS SUSAN BLACKWELL!!!
He should play a love interest in Sean Hayes's new sitcom.
I watched 1-3 of AD right as they premiered, and just watched 4-6. I think 3 at a time is perfect for this run. The two biggest LOL moments for me so far was Michael getting voted out and not being able to say anything, and the Thanksgiving Duck.
Aww, I miss my SMASH notification!
This is the first year in a long time where I have nearly zero interest in watching. The only musical this season I've been interested in seeing is Cinderella, mostly out of nostalgia (plus Harriet Harris and Ann Harada!).
I've been hoping that Bayer would move to WU since last year!
I think that's where the shitty Rent rip off story really hits for me.
Listening to Rent growing up, I thought it was the greatest musical to ever grace the Broadway stage EVER and I viciously attacked anyone who criticized it.
Also just realized that nearly ALL of the Broadway people who made it to TV in the past couple years have had their shows cancelled.
While i have the most mixed feelings EVARRR about smash being cancelled, if bunheads is gone i WILL start a letter writing campaign.
I have so many thoughts and feelings and emotions. Also this is the first time I've been drunk while watching the show since season one (I KNOW RIGHT) so forgive me.
SMASH will live in infamy as the bestworst show ever to grace the small screen.
At the very least, it gave me a thousand different variations of Anjelica Huston throwing drinks to use as reaction GIFs to things I don't like.
AND THE SCARVES. oh the scarves.
I do wish we could have gotten a Patti LuPone cameo tho. The…
