Funny thing is, I smell diesel more often since I had the recall done. If I recall correctly, the engine has to run richer to reduce NOX emissions, which uses a lot more fuel.

The worst is when they camp near a semi so it can’t move to let someone merge from the onramp w/o having to slow down.

That happens in the southeast too. It’s funny to me when I pass some dickhead & they tailgate me in response, only to resume driving 10 mph under the limit when we get to the 1st gently sweeping curve or the slightest of hills.

What state do you live in, where passing on the right is illegal? In SC, you can pass on the right on a 2 lane road; if you don’t have to leave the roadway, & the car in front is turning left...most people don’t know that though.

From the way you’ve explained it, it seems similar to how BBQ is used interchangeably as a method of cooking & a type of food. If someone offers you a BBQ sandwich, it usually means pulled pork. If you get invited to a BBQ, they may only have ribs &/or chicken that are cooked on a grill w/charcoal, wood, or gas.

Keep your lane when turning in a multi-lane intersection. Most folks will cross over into the other lane at the end of a turn if those dashed lines aren’t painted on the road. So many more cars could get thru an intersection of you could rely on people to drive w/some sense.
