I have a 3rd Gen tacoma, and even though the gladiator wasn’t out at the time, I still think I’d have a hard time going gladiator over a similiarly priced tacoma TRD.

Just as a datapoint, I have a 2017 Tacoma offroad, and don’t have the room to fit a full size.  I have no intention of getting rid of it for a very long time and have been more than happy with it.

Yup, this is definitely a tacoma problem.
