I remember seeing that Battle Chess game in some store at the mall back when computers were things not many people owned, and being totally blown away at how great it looked. It seems silly nowadays, but moving, battling chess pieces on a screen was basically magic to 7-8yo me.

Yeah destroyed is not a word I'd use esp since the Amazon seasons look incredible.

I got a better idea Bezos. Seasons 7, 8 and 9 of the Expanse.

There is a minority opinion. I love the books don’t get me wrong. But for a TV show I think they have really done well with the Expanse. Amazing cast that was as diverse as the authors intended, with some killer acting.
