Didn't Emmitt tell Sy after reading about the murder in the paper that he was 82? Or am I nuts? Even if I'm slightly off, I agree that this made no sense and was distracting. Thaddeus should have been about 47, not 27. Or it should have just been 1955, which was what I assumed it had to be — for about 5 seconds, until

Yes, the latter. Well recalled, sir!

Lol, where do you see that? If so, I had no idea and no one told *me*! I don't think I've ever been inappropriate; at worst, maybe just sharing unpopular opinions? :-)

Yeah, it's so common. Thinking back, I'd have to say the most egregious offender ever was Jerry Seinfeld in his show. Average-looking, semi-successful (in the show) regular-guy comic, and yet every single woman he'd be dating would be drop-dead gorgeous. Riiiiight, very realistic. :-P

She is indeed smoking hot, but this takes away a bit of the believability… To me, she should not have been cast in the role of Nikki — it's hard for me to buy anyone *that* stunning (regardless of whether they're a "con" and a headcase) deciding that a frumpy dimwit parole officer like Ray is their soulmate. Nope,

That actually surprised me, though. I thought for sure he was going to say "Now you see it… how much money you can make," because it sure looked to me like Emmit was starting to think that this could work out great for him (following Varga's expansion suggestions).

Ooh, you could be on to something there. Will remember your name and champion you if you nailed this.

Although she and Philip did withhold the truth about America *not* trying to kill countless people by poisoning their food. I was disappointed they withheld that, and by virtue of it clearly manipulated her.

Oh wow, I somehow missed the connection… It was so super obviously with "Big Sex Guy" player dude from the immersion group she was teaching. And LOL re: puppy — he does!

I must respectfully disagree. There's a lot on this show (although a great show) that could qualify as boring — for me it's usually the slow mechanics of whatever the latest mission is — but I find the Paige storyline among the most compelling on the show. And I think that Holly Taylor is pretty excellent.

Although that was pretty awesome. That was probably my favorite moment of the season seeing our Martha and that she's okay.

That does sound fun actually… It would be a "hey, I've seen this in movies but never experienced anything close to it in real life" type thing.

Thoughts:

Cool though it was for our downtrodden Philip to "get his girl back," I will admit that the jealous/bitter part of me was a little disappointed that, nope, still not one single solitary time can either Philip or Elizabeth fail to seduce whoever they simply decide that they will seduce… Yup, just like how the real

See, I'd be okay with it if stuff was happening on what looked like remote roads, but the road I'm referring to on BCS sure as heck looks like a *highway* to me, what with its yellow stripe. Now where I'm from (northeastern U.S.), there's no such thing as a highway that doesn't have cars going down it more or less

Does it bother anyone else that *no one* is ever on the highway?! I mean, seriously, how many road scenes have their been, complete with stopping the car right in the middle of the road, getting out to do some chatting, some scheming, maybe a cup of coffee… Precisely zero non-character-owned vehicles have ever driven

BCS is so well done that I'm hoping The Powers That Be are giving serious thought to moving to the *post*-BB Saul story, once the planned-on narrative is complete and we reach the BCS/BB junction. I mean right?? Plenty can happen once we bust "Gene" out of Cinnabon (including an eventual reunion with Kim, please!).

Moderate quibble with the Mike story: How was Mike's plan going to work if they made him remove his gun before entering? It seemed rather fortuitous that Hector bizarrely opted not to have him remove it. So much so that it diluted my "Mike wins" high, which I always so look forward to.

I'm also watching late! I just finished this ep, with four to go. I agree about how this doesn't make sense, however it wasn't her computer Carrie had, wasn't it Nazari's? So it was a picture of himself (taken by her?) at Banana Joe's. I don't know, the whole thing is pretty crazy, as many have already stated.

I must say that it stretched belief that anyone — even someone like Skip — would willingly "go into that grave-sized hole and lie down." Even if your situation seemed doomed, you'd make them push you in there, no?… You'd pretty much try everything before you'd just waltz in, sit, and allow asphalt to be poured over
