@Matt Hardigree: and a Protege5. Which would have been a good pick too.

@smackela: Me too. Fastback has some serious style (in a good way).

@tekamul: Exactly. I least admire that they had the restraint to dump the engine into a clearly falling apart 'notch rather than one that was salvageable. Still CP, completely.

@Boosted Lego Wagon: Not even close. Porsche in a walk. Porsche will charge you an extra grand for bluetooth on a 90k car.

@Zain76: Exactly what I was thinking. Seems you might as well pit a standard Cooper if you are not going to go for the all out JCW.

@Soxx09: That's the theory. Just like Z3 M Coupe or X5 M

@jd: I'd have to agree with this. Luxury buyers likely feel more equals well, more.

@tonyola: Yikes. This is back in the era of Jettas being Golfs with a trunk welded to the back and the Passat was a stretched Jetta. Give me a Dasher or Quantum any day..

@TheCroatianGuy: I love the late 90's models ('98-99). The current Passat is not nearly as attractive and way too expensive. $30k+! Those late 90's models went up against Accords and Camrys but with sport, style, and even a diesel option. Each re-design has left me colder.

@pauljones: I voted NP too, but the more I think about it (an 25 year old exotic French car of which only a few exist in the US), I'd spend my money on a Z3 M Coupe.

@ploopsy: I like to think this is a practical joke played on someone (maybe for their wedding day?). Looks like a lot of AutoZone stickers that could be easily applied/peeled off. At least that is my hope....

Um, bars? Like where they serve alcohol?

Bluetooth. I can't imagine buying a car without it now.

@snapoversteer's: I like both, but if I had to choose I would pick heated seats first.
