I’m not so sure about that. At the beginning of the space race this was very true- many WW1 German ships at Scalpa Flow were raised and scrapped during this time.
It doesn’t prevent the rubber from freezing, I beleive it just prevents them from freezing directly to the glass.
I also forgot to mention, my dad has offered me a brand new car if I just gave this up. I politely refused.
I will gladly contribute $100 to the wagoneer
Get my Passat back on the road. Hopefully, I’ll have a new head, new turbo, possibly new transmission, fix all the cosmetic damage, and hopefully break 300HP
What about the undercarriage? Only reason I go through automatic car washes is to get my undercarriage washed. Hell, then I usually go into the do-it-yourself bay to do the rest.

I think the point he was making is a woman is on a equal playing field. Is it insanely physically demanding? Absolutely. But there is nothing that biologically makes men better then women when it comes to racing, since the cars are the equalizer.
Used Golf R32 ticks all the boxes. Everything here would be a hellscape to get parts for to fix, but get a Mk5 R32 parts are plentiful, still have factory support, and the aftermarket community is always booming if you decide the stock isn’t worth it.
buy it, I’ll make the trip down (PA) and drive it up.
I did rally cross once, where My dad came through the finish so fast, he slammed on the breaks and the car slid sideways into like 8 cones, all the while throwing up a huge puff of snow.
I feel like the B pillar in the picture angles back and is parallel to the C. The Mercedes is a straight line, and doesn’t match the rear profile.
