I live off of 17 and have seen this truck driving around. It’s truly odd. Unlike a lot of custom jobs that throw on massive wheels/graphics/paint jobs drawing attention to it’s custom-ness, this looks so normal you’d swear it was factory.

You should ask your coworker.

Don’t forget Gillig, one of the largest bus makers in the US, is based in California and does offer an electric bus that works.

The next time some Tesla bro corners you in the locker room at the gym, dripping and wearing only a towel

It’s a good car, but it’s not a good James Bond car.

I bought my ‘63 356 9 years ago when I was 25. I actually found it parked on the streets of Pittsburgh in 2008 with a for sale sign in the window. The PO was selling it because he rarely drove the car but you could tell he really didn’t want it to go. It took a little over a year to finally agree on letting it go. I

Could be worse. Bond drove a Lincoln Mark VII in License to Kill and the bad guys drove a Maserati Biturbo...

I remember when Tiptronic transmissions became a thing. Salespeople loved to say “It’s just like a manual!!” and I’m like..

Auto is auto. Stop kidding yourself with expensive to maintain DSGs or gimmicky paddles and get a car with the ZF 8HP automatic transmission. If you’re a car guy and can afford/store it, then get yourself a manual car for the weekends.

Model Y was released last night and all I could do was think of this. They fixed the glitch and decided to call it a whole new model.

Biggest surprise is they fixed “Model 3's biggest design fail” and somehow decided to call it a whole new model..

Most these cars live their lives in plastic storage bubbles and if they’re lucky, maybe a Cars n Coffee trip now and then. 180 MPH? Bitch please...any mph in this car should be considered a miracle.

In America, you photograph cars for readers. In Soviet California, readers photograph YOU.

Correction, it appears the owner of 25 years sold it to a dealer in MO. My comments refer to the owner not the dealer. Weird to see a local car show up on Jalop so far away from home...very much a where are they now moment for me.

Just saw this exact car a few hours ago in Beverly Hills. Who has it now?

I’ve seen this car multiple times across Marin County at various car shows. The car was cool but the owner was very unpleasant and full of ego thanks to this car. Also the thing photographs well but up close you can tell it’s deterioritating from the inside out. Hard pass.

Still very slightly camo’d so can you really say “this is all of it?”

Why no Ocean Race Blue Metallic? That’s a signature color for that edition and looks awesome in person.

Who hasn’t? Guys point is valid. Massive grilles are design traits linked to ICE powered vehicles and are not needed on EVs. The day will come where a grille and exhaust pipes are seen as passé characteristics of old propulsion technology. Mfrs will have to come up with another way to make their cars identifiable.

Apparently this car came up for auction last year but did not sell..
