It doesn’t quite mean that, though. Usually, a “Schnapsidee” is a stupid idea that you come up with while drunk that sounds good at first, but only for as long as you’re drunk.

Stop calling it a phone. It’s a tablet. Or a phablet, whatever. We’ve come so far making things smaller and now they stick these ridiculously oversized screens in my pants. No thanks.
