They (US) don’t really have any good teams that can punish them with players or tactics. The WoSo game is the US in one corner and minnows. Japan was the best passing team in the tourney so far, and I will miss them from here on out. Such a joy to watch.

Yes, once MLS makes money pays the market rate for the world’s best, and is financially successful, then I support MLS helping the NWSL (women’s league).

MLS teams barely spend money on their men’s teams.  If MLS teams could compete for the world’s best talent and raise the profile of the men’s league, and they had the money to support the NWSL (women’s league) then I would support MLS working with the NWSL.  Right now, it is not a good financial prospect for them.

Yes, you are right.  However, getting away with bogus calls against France at home is not going to cut it.  The US must be a cut above France, or they are going to lose.

The USSF is not a quality-run organization. It is a non-profit staffed mostly by fanboys and fangirls of the sport.

The women brought in $50 million over four years, while the men (whose teams were crap over the same period) brought in $49 million. So, despite the USWNT success, they barely brought in more revenue than a men’s team that was horrible. What does that tell you?
