They're not going to charge for the current functionality, but an ad free version might happen. Those embedded ads in the news feed are really annoying. If you like too many companies, it attributes the ads to you & makes it more likely that the blond hottie is going to hide you.

When the blowers clog up with dust, your $2200 + $220 tax are done, but this gear is more about winning over the blond hottie than actually using it.

They already changed the name again? From Windows CE to Windows Phone to Windows RT, it's the same predictable damage control as any other corporation yet sad.
