Unfortunately he was driving a Penske, and insurance only covers this sort of thing with a Ryder.

Not really; *exports* to China have fallen, but Chinese companies sales are actually rising. This is *exactly* what happened to US manufacturers when they used tariffs to try and stop the Japanese carmakers in the 70's, and the end result was the US lose the European market. The same thing is likely to happen here.

It’s not stupidity, but rather the lack of a plan. Typically, when a government decides to impose a tariff, they have a plan with what to do with all the money.

The rationale people of the world knew a trade war with China head on was stupid, yet here we are. Never mind that we really do rely on them for our egregious spending habits, we also have negligible manufacturing here anymore. A trade war won’t fix the manufacturing problem, as stuff will just move to where it is

Innocent victims? No.

God, I love it when people with no reading comprehension skills get political online.

That sentence is quite factual. Trump began the trade war with his tariffs that has led to nothing but retaliatory tariff’s from China and an administration that has no idea how to get out of this without the whole thing looking like

3rd Gear: Not only blatantly full of shit, but career-endingly stupid for the lawyers involved, bare minimum. I’m no lawyer, but it’s pretty obvious corporations voluntarily signing an agreement with a state over product standards isn’t an anti-trust matter. Federal regulations can supersede state regulations, of

Stop. Think. Applaud.

My vote made it exactly 50-50 and let me tell you, that’s what it was for me too.

It’s $5,900 for a solid truck (I always liked Armadas) with reasonable mileage. A clean one with the same mileage would go for more - I’d rather get the discount here and just remove all the gaudy wrap that I don’t like. Wheels are a little too ostentatious for my tastes but aren’t a dealbreaker.

Spoiler alert:

Is it big enough to hang with a BMW on the track?

The model 3 performance can hang with an M3.

It has to be that big. Twice a year I tow a 12-foot travel trailer.

Well, once edited yes.

Compressing and storing it is another issue.

This is basically the only answer that makes sense. Either they thought it was a Prius, or they thought is was an EV.

The Carfax is showing it as purchased at an auction in the Pacific region and then going for sale right afterwords, which would suggest that the dealer bought it not realizing what it was and had it shipped there.
