As a big time reader I stopped watching in season 3 because it started to be a TV show instead of an interpretation of great work that was practically the anti tv show.

Honestly, I’m a thrones fan and this season is really fucking stupid.

Oh brother... All the poor VFX artists slaving away in front of their computers from now until November working 22 hour days on the fucking Sonic The Hedgehog movie. It sounds like the lowest ring of hell.

Because Detective Pikachu weirdly works. He’s not ‘the pikachu’. He’s A pikachu who happens to be a detective. Also, the tone of DP is very self aware. While the characters are taking it seriously, the marketing clearly knows what a weird premise it is.
