I have noticed that too. FIFA 14 was one of the latest games I bought, and I swear it feels more buggy than any other FIFA in recent memory, to the point I can't play more than a couple matches without the game loosing the connection to EA servers or hard freezing on me.
I am starting to believe its because of the next generation. Simply put, their A team are working with the new toys, while the current version is being handled by their B team.
Between FIFA 14, Batman Origins and now Battlefield 4, I am getting the impression its the excuse we are going to get more and more with the current generation. In either of those games I have seen more bugs now that in all their previous games in their franchise, put together...
