That's because RE and RE4 were designed for the GCN and it looks like GCN games can scale well to current specs. Games designed for PS1 would look pretty bad unless completely redone and that would be a very expensive risk. I mean RE1 remake already looks like this on a GCN emulator on PC.

that honestly doesn't surprise me. it best to introduce kids to the cartoons or toys first.

if you know Transformers then you would know that Optimus would never murder Megatron and Sentinel Zeta Prime like he did at the end of third movie. Optimus was completely out of character.

Precedent? If the previous three movies ranged from "mediocre at best" to "please God make it stop", then chances are the new one won't be much better.

Am I the only one that prefers the the darkened rotted look of the of the original wood/board texture to the completely reworked unrotted HD version?
