People aren’t supporting this effort as much because it started over issues about Halloween costumes and most people don’t take that as a serious enough complain to warrant firing people over. There are some legit issues here, but it is hard to overcome that beginning.

As much as I don’t like the people who are going to side with you, because most of them will be shit (I’m speaking of the commentariat here), I have to agree.

Yep. That letter basically boiled down to, “These students are adults in the eyes of the law. They can figure some stuff out on their own.”
