I know I’m a bit of an outlier, but there is no car I would never drive. They all have something to offer, even if it’s how bad they are. If I could be given a different car every three months with the only promise that it wouldn’t break down, I would take the deal.

The demounted tire that kept rolling in circles was hilarious.

The mid engine really kept the spinning balanced.

Because the M6 is the best all around vehicle. Go ahead and try and make me change my mind. It’ll be like talking to a cinderblock.

Came to say this exact thing.

“HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY BRO?”
“HOW FAST DOES IT GO, BRO?”
“HOW MUCH PU$$AYYYY DOES THIS THING GET YOU, BRO?”

Apparently bro's have BROken caps buttons when speaking. Especially those from New Jersey.

Bros won’t be broing all over my M6, that’s why.

And there is a huge difference between a technology demonstrator i.e. “experimental ship” and Duty vessel with lots of experimental tech. Which is what the Enterprise was. A lot of which didn't work out and did not make it to later hulls.

Actually its pretty high end Mechanical Engineering. Its reeeeeally close to Rocket Science.

I usually like your write ups but you picked the wrong horse to whip here. Aircraft Carriers have always been in concurrency between design, development and production. They didn’t prototype the Enterprise through countless variations and sea trials. The Engineers said she needed 2 maybe 3 nukes, the admirals no way

But the entire premise of the article is that these types of problems are new. Meanwhile, DoD has actually implemented changes to the development cycle within the last 15 years to make these problems less likely, and the severity lower.

I could buy like 100,000 Gawker-approved portable solar chargers for that kind of scratch!

I dunno, mayn...this might be gearhead sacrilege...but I’d take the 288 over the F40.

That’s so fast and powerful and technical I feel like a Manual gearbox would make the car worse...something that really hurts to say. Each new iteration of the supercar is so much faster were closing in fast on the limit of human capabilities. What do you folks think? Would this make the car better?
