The 3.0 and 4.2 TDIs have a 100hp difference, they are worlds apart. I will be commuting almost 120 miles per day on the autobahn so 250hp won’t be quite enough and any gas motor will consume far to much fuel for my liking.

Those are sweet. I am moving to Germany later this year and have decided on a ~2012 A8 with the 350hp 4.2TDI and I am SOOO EXCITED!
