Brady changes play calls in the huddle, and has full autonomy to audible at the line when he sees something he doesn’t like (and he does frequently). I think it’s more so that Belichick recognizes and respects Brady’s eye for the game and doesn’t get personally offended by those call changes (unlike hard-o McCarthy).
