Here Again

I’m not sure what the streaming services have, but the US Blu/DVD were the cut R-Rated version (why they cut a VOD/Direct to Video release to R is a head-scratcher). The Canadian release is Unrated

The martyrdom/persecution complex is huge part of TERF-dom. I’m sure Graham Linehan is off somewhere whining (while secretly being pleased) about finally being banned from Twitter for his transphobic douchebaggery.

Sadly, the Phoebe Waller-Bridge page doesn’t have the same thing.

It looks like Iggy is burning/melting into flames/lava, which is perfect for what’s contained on the album

That’s also who I thought it was referring to when I first saw the episode as a kid. Didn’t understand what the joke was - why were they saying that nobody liked the host of Family Feud when he was a kid?

...but he can still like their drumming, since the drummer is a Trumpist turd.

For some reason, the line that sticks with me is Tom Hanks yelling “ANYWHERE BUT THE FIRST THREE ROWS!” at the wedding. It will just pop into my head apropos of nothing.

Really annoying they put old episodes beyond a paywall now.

It’s not just Blu-Ray - it’s also a 4K disc as well.

Don’t understand why he had an issue with it getting ripped off, but have no problem with it already being blown off and just having a sexless mound where genitals should be, but whatever you say, Val.

Eh. This kinda reminds me when the filmmakers behind You’re Next and The Guest did that Blair Witch reboot - it seems like a waste of some good genre filmmakers (really liked Ready or Not) to just go do a reboot of a spent franchise.

And then JJ Abrams will show up and start answering questions in the laziest, most predictable way possible to comfort them. It won’t work.

I’ve read at least 2 other “COVID-19/self-isolation movies to watch” pieces that recommend Wake in Fright. I love the movie, but...seems like a strange one to land on for multiple people.

Oh good. A new show by the guy who showran The Office for S6-S9, Sure it will be great with that kind of pedigree.

The various levels of occult, conspiracy theory, and other weirdness that Mark Frost adds to the mythology in The Secret History of Twin Peaks is kinda fun if you’re interested in that, but if you just want to ignore that and just enjoy Lynch being Lynch, you can do that too.

All of these episodes were available as 4:3 on FX/Simpsons World. I guess I don’t understand why it would take this long to just put those files up, unless there’s something to developing an underlying mechanism to offer different versions of the same episode.

The Butthole Cut” and “The Snyder Cut” aren’t the same thing?

Yeah, they were pretty fractured at that point. Dave Foley had actually quit the troupe at that point. He didn’t write anything for it, and only appeared in it because he had to. Kevin thinks Dave would have been the better lead for it.

It’s a really good episode, and definitely worth seeking out.

Now playing

Can’t believe the son of Toblerone is this much of a knob.
